SHADE BREAK was built on one simple truth, some of us don’t leave the house without a hat.

I’ve worn a hat every single day for as long as I can remember. Living in a beach town, staying active, always outside, it doesn’t matter if I’m playing volleyball, pickleball games, lifting weights or just hanging at a friend’s place… I’ve always got a hat on.

I created SHADE BREAK with the help of my friend Brent, because I wanted to create a brand that truly captured that everyday mindset. Hats that are athletic enough to perform, modern enough to stand out, and clean enough to wear anywhere.
